Our client is looking for a suitably qualified team player for the position of Sports Trader – Current Affairs. Reporting into the Head of UK Sports. The ideal candidate should be a huge sports follower and will mainly be responsible for -


 


·         Compiling odds for a wide variety of Horse Racing sporting markets


·         Monitoring real-time sporting events/ results and performing live trading


·         Investigating market trends to obtain insight that assists in the prediction of customer betting patterns


·         Managing the positions of each sport and take action to ensure maximum profitability where appropriate


·         Performing customer analysis, monitoring customers and bet limits


 


Are you our ideal candidate?


 


·         A minimum of 2 years trading experience


·         Interest in politics, reality TV and current affairs


·         Passionate Sports Fan


·         Excellent written and spoken English


·         Numerate and highly competent in Excel and other Microsoft Office programs


·         Able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays
